Fadi A. Matar, M.D., FACC

     Dr. Fadi Matar completed his training in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at George Washington University and Washington Hospital Center. He is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiology. Dr. Matar is one of Florida Cardiovascular Institute's founding physicians. His clinical interests include outcome assessment of coronary interventions, critical care, intravascular ultrasound and new stent technology including interventions of coronary arteries and the peripheral vascular system. Dr. Matar is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Care Unit at Tampa General Hospital. He is also the Medical Director and Founder of Cardioquest Interventional Cardiology Database, a multi-site clinical database. Dr. Matar is the Principal Investigator on several clinical research studies being conducted in the U.S. and internationally.
