Dr. Joel Fernandez graduated from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and completed his training in Cardiology and Cardiac Transplant at University of South Florida in Tampa. He is Board Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine and NASPE certified. His clinical interests include nuclear cardiology, heart failure and heart transplantation. Dr. Fernandez is a Member of Tampa General Hospital's Cardiac Transplant Team. He is also the Principal Investigator for clinical research studies on heart failure. |
