James was a paramedic with Hillsborough County EMS for 13 years prior to attending State University of New York at Stony Brook where he received his BS and Physician Assistant degrees. As a Physician Assistant he has performed in the Primary Care, Urology, and Dermatology fields. Along with BLS and ACLS certifications, he is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
