Holter Monitor/Event Monitor

General Description
Our monitors can be worn for 2-4 weeks and will monitor the electrical activity of your heart (your heart rate and rhythm) for long continuous periods of time. The monitors are small devices that resemble a portable radio. As soon as you are instructed to return the monitor, please do so. These devices are expensive and require cleaning and reprogramming before they can be given to the next patient.

Patient Preparation
No special preparation is required. Allow 20 minutes for this test.
