Exercise Stress Echocardiogram

 
 

General Description
     Two-dimensional ultrasound of the inside of the heart combined with a treadmill exercise stress test. Allows the cardiologist to assess for any abnormalities in the function of the left ventricle due to possible coronary artery disease.

Patient Preparation
     Wear short and pants or shorts and comfortable walking shoes. Allow 45 minutes for this test.
